Take Command grows team, closes fundraising round

Want the scoop on our latest hiring and fundraising updates? Here's what our press release said!

Dallas—Take Command Health, a health reimbursement arrangement administrator, has added ten new employees to their team on the tails of a successful fundraising round. The company’s growth is in response to increased interest in health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) as companies move away from employer-sponsored health insurance and look for more predictable, affordable and flexible benefits solutions. The 401(K)-style model has proven to be a valuable ally for businesses as they weather the fallout from COVID-19.

“We’re incredibly thankful for a successful fundraising round in an uncertain economic environment,” shares Take Command CEO, Jack Hooper. “One thing is for certain: the demand for HRAs will continue to rise—and our growing team allows us to meet that need.”

Team members were added in strategy, development, compliance, and sales, starting with Samantha Darnell joining the team as Director of Strategy. Samantha brings with her a valuable consulting and healthcare background along with a passion for team building.

“There’s never been a better time to fix the broken healthcare system,” shares Take Command Health’s new Director of Strategy, Samantha Darnell. “The culture of innovation at Take Command Health makes it well-positioned to redefine the way companies talk about benefits. I’m excited to be a part of it.”

As demand increases, so does compliance management, a pillar of the HRA administration platform. Leslie Morey, Shanna Richardson, Christina Roberts and Matt Hand have joined as compliance specialists to review employee insurance and claims to ensure they’re within their specific HRA standards. To help onboard and elevate the customer experience, Elise Hobbs has joined as a Client Success Specialist.

As the company continues to push for a streamlined user experience, several initiatives have kickstarted from the development end, supported by the addition of front-end developers Lexa Wong and Sunny Singh as well as operations manager, Anna Dalton. Tanner Dobbs joins the team as Growth Lead to strategically address the increasing demand for partnerships.
